| 英文摘要 | Qiang is the chant, which is either a combination of language (vocal tones of Chinese characters) and music (melody) or just music (melody). The smallest unit of Qiang is called Qiangdiao, and the family of Qiangdiaos is called Shengqiang. Xiqu originally means the music used in an opera, and afterwards it means the opera with music. In the beginning, the music in the opera was Nan Bei Qu (the Northern and southern Melody), and afterwards it underwent a broad change. The smallest unit used in Nan Bei Qu is called Qupai. Different Qupais have got different patterns, and those Qupais elaborated by the scholars are specialized in its pattern of language (rhythm of language based on tones of the Chinese characters) instead of pattern of music (or specifically Qiangdiao). Banshi means the rest and beat of music, and is often referred to as Banqiang. Banqiangti (Banqiang Style) emphasizes the change of Banshis in a musical development, and the music herein takes more effect than that of Qupaiti (Qubai Style). Luantan can include all the folk melodies and operas, but it can also be used in a narrow sense to refer to many other meanings. The concept of Juzhong (Division of operas) currently used is very complicated because the elements of Xi (drama) and Qu (music) are always mixed together. Meanwhile, the concept of Regional Opera also influence the classification of operas greatly. Regional Opera are mostly those localized operas coming from other areas, and their localization is not always a thorough one. |
