中文摘要 | 隨著高齡人口數的逐年增加,高齡者的教育與學習問題也逐漸受到重視。於是,世界各國紛紛辦理各式各樣不同型態的高齡教育活動,以因應高齡學習者的需求。就目前世界上著名的高齡教育活動而言,法國與英國的第三年齡大學是屬於十分重要的典範。可是,目前國內對於法英兩國第三年齡大學的相關研究甚少。有鑑於此,本文採用歷史研究法,以深入地探究法英第三年齡大學的發展歷史。本文首先分別探究法英第三年齡大學興起的背景、創立的概況、辦理的型態、以及其在國際上的影響;其次,則歸納分析法英第三年齡大學在受大學支配程度、學員參與涉入情形、和教師聘請來源等方面的相異特點;最後,透過行政組織的理論,對法英兩國第三年齡大學進行評論,以指陳出兩者的優缺點為何。 |
英文摘要 | Education for older adults is increasingly becoming a global phenomenon. There are many kinds of educational activities which are exclusively designed for older adults in the world. It is no doubt that the influence of the University of the Third Age (U3A) in France and Britain on the development of educational activities for older learners in the world is significant. Both French and British U3A are excellent examples of educational activities for older adults in the world. However, research related to the French and British u3As remains rate in Taiwan. The study, therefore, aims to explore the developmental history of the French and British U3As by historical research. There are three main sections in this paper. Firstly, this study explores the development of the French and British U3As respectively. Secondly, the characteristics of French an British U3As are discussed with particular attention to "the relationship with universities", "the involvement of older learners" and "the recruitment of teachers". Finally, criticisms regarding the practices of the French and British U3As are in order to point out the strengths and weakness of the French and British U3As. |
