| 英文摘要 | Jian-dang-guan (the junior officials in charge of supervision and management concerning the taxation and finance, etc. in the local governments in ancient China) was basic official group established in the Song dynasty. The history books like History of Song (《宋史》)seldom records the life of the officials, but the tablet inscriptions which write the officials’ study experience give lively and vivid descriptions about their life. This paper exemplifies the inscriptions to conduct a complementary study on the life of the officials in the two following aspects: First, we want to know how many officials there were in the early-and-mid Song dynasty. The paper, through textual research, points out that there were about more than 3000 officials in the country from Qingli【慶曆】period of Emperor Renzong to Yuanfeng 【元豐】period of Emperor Shenzong. Second, the paper exemplifies some officials to give a vivid and full description about heir duties, which embodies the historical value of the inscriptions in the study on the official group. |
