中文摘要 | 本質性研究之目的在探索母親獲得照顧先天性心臟病病孩之知識與技能的學習過程。以深度訪談法收集九位母親養育其病孩的經驗,用Colaizzi(1978)的現象學分析步驟,整理與歸納所收集的訪談資料。結果顯示母親獲得照顧病孩之知能包括四個主要主題:發現問題(包括母親自我覺察、醫護人員告知)、產生動機(包括角色期待與責任、愛與保護)、解決問題(包括遵循指導、嘗試調整、累積經驗、小心求證、勇於試用及歸納經驗)與自我評價(包括學習障礙與學習成果)。同時也發現「自我覺察」是母親學習過程的起始點。為增加母親對先天性心臟病孩的照顧能力,提升兒科護理人員的護理服務品質,提出提昇母親覺察能力的建議。本研究的結果可作為先天性心臟病孩護理指導的參考。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this qualitative study was to explore certain mothers' learning processes of obtaining knowledge and skills in taking care of their children with congenital heart disease. Nine mothers' experiences along with the journey of taking care of their sick children were collected by in-depth interview and analyzed by Colaizzi's phenomenological research method. Four major themes within the learning process were found, including problem discovery (mother's self-awareness and informed by medical personnel), motivation generation (maternal role-expectation and responsibility, love, and protection), problem solving methods (following medical instructions, adjustment, accumulating experience and carefully confirming information, bravely trying and inducting new experiences), and self-evaluation (barriers and achievements). The researcher also found that mothers' self-awareness was a starting point in the learning process of taking care of their sick child. To improve mother's ability to take care of their children and the nursing quality of pediatric nurses, the researcher provides a suggestion to promote mothers' self-awareness. The findings of this study could be used as a reference to develop nursing instructions concering children with congenital heart disease. |
