中文摘要 | 能見度(visibility)是量化環境視覺感受的重要因子,其與空氣品質、污染 物種類及氣象因子之間相關性高,一般以人類視覺對於環境目標物的可辨識之極 限距離表示,人類眼睛的辨識能力則決定於目標物的可見性(visible properties)。 本研究建立一個數位影像處理程序,將環境目標物的可見性予以影像數位化,即 分析人類對於環境目標物之視覺極限,研究程序是:先取得目標物之數位影像;接 著應用影像處理程式解析影像,以二維度光強度函數表示,此函數正比影像中任 一點之亮度(灰階度);再將上述影像資料以像素(pixels)積分運算得到特徵數值;最 後與中央氣象局梧棲氣象觀測站之觀測結果作同時「等位對比」,建立人類視覺 極限之數位資料。研究結果顯示人類眼睛對於不同距離的環境目標物的視覺極限 相似,即低於視覺極限,目標物失去環境可見性。 |
英文摘要 | The quality of human life is significantly impacted by the impairment of the atmospheric visibility. According to the definition of the prevailingvisibility, the visual limit of human eyes define the visible property of environmental targets. This study has developed the methodology to applydigital image processing technology to investigate the visual limit. This new method can provide absolute digital data to develop new indexes of visibilityin future studies. The procedures of the digital image processing are as follows: taking the digital images of the selected targets, analyzing the brightness (or gray level)of images by the specific computer program, and correlating the visibility with the integral of the pixels on the images. The result of this study showed the digital values of visual limit of two environmental targets at different distances from the measuring point. Above values are close to each other. Furthermore, the targets were invisible when the brightness approached the visual limit. |
