中文摘要 | 血管導管的注射帽(IV lock)使用十分普遍,其消毒方法各有不同,為了瞭解不同消毒方法的消毒效果,我們做了一實驗性比較,以期能建立最簡單、有效的消毒方法。先隨機以生理食鹽水棉棒直接在二十個正在使用中的注射帽之橡皮注射面上擦拭採樣,經培養後計算平均菌落數為 14.9 CFU 以作為實驗性污染注射帽的參考。實驗性污染注射帽之菌種採用Staphylococcus aureus 及 Candida albicans ,其中S. aureus分三組,種菌數約為 1 X 102 CFU、5 X 103 CFU及 1 X、105 CFU,C. albicans分二組,種菌數約為1 X 102 CFU、1 X 106 CFU,污染性種菌方法是以吸量管(pipette)取菌液塗抹於無菌注射帽注射面上,待乾燥後,控制組不經消毒以生理食鹽水棉棒採菌,塗種於 blood agar plate,實驗組依不同濃度分組後分別以酒精棉球、酒精棉棒、酒精性優碘棉棒加酒精棉棒三種方法消毒整個注射帽橡皮注射端,待乾後採菌,塗種於lood agar plate上,培養後計數殘存未殺死之菌量。結果當污染菌量少時,三種消毒方法都能達到良好的消毒效果,在較高菌量的 S. aureus 污染時,酒精棉球消毒效果較佳,由此結果我們認為除了使用消毒劑的化學性效果外,酒精棉球較能發揮擦拭時產生的機械性效果,達到較好的消毒效果。(感控雜誌2001:11:12-9) |
英文摘要 | Intravenous lock (IV lock) is a commonly used device for the venous access. We carried out an experiment to evaluate the effectiveness of three different disinfection methods for the latex injection port of the IV lock. These are using: (1) cotton ball soaked with 70% alcohol; (2) cotton swab soaked with 70% alcohol; and (3) both povidone iodine soaked swab and alcohol-soaked swab. We artificially contaminated 3 groups, 30 in each, of the latex port with three different amounts of Staphyloccocus aureus : 1 × 102 CFU, 5× 103 CFU, or 1 × 105 CFU. We also tested two additional groups, contaminated with two different amounts of Candida albicans : 1 × 102 CFU, or 1 × 106 CFU. Following disinfection manually, and the alcohol and povi- done iodine have dried, culture of the port was done with a sterile swab soaked with 0.9% NaC1 solution, and the colonies were counted after culture on blood agar plates. A control group with no disinfection was prepared for each of the 5 test groups. In all control groups, there were more than 250 colonies of microorganisms upon culture. The experiment showed that with the lowest tested amounts of bacteria and yeasts on the latex surface, all three methods were effective in killing all microorganisms; whereas there were from 0 to 60 colonies remaining when the amounts of organisms are large. With alcohol cotton, S. aureus was most effectively cleaned up. We believe that disinfection with 70% alcohol cotton has not only the chemical but also the mechanical effect on eliminating the bacteria, rendering the best result.
