中文摘要 | 實體化視域的漸進式維護方法,隨著資料倉儲技術的發展變得相當重要,然而到目前為止,大部分的研究多在傳統關聯式的環境中探討這個問題。在物件導向資料倉儲中,是以物件導向實體化視域來存放資料,因物件的特性讓倉儲系統可以處理更為複雜的資料型態。本篇論文提出一個維護演算法,有效率的維護物件導向實體化視域,除此之外,更進一步維護包含聚合函式的視域,透過輔助視域的幫助及找出潛在影響視域內容的更新,來增快維護的速度與減少系統資源的浪費。為了讓資料倉儲的資料隨時能跟資料來源保持一致性,將進一步解決分散式系統環境上資料同步更新的問題。最後我們建置一個系統並實作我們的演算法,透過實際的操作驗證維護結果的正確性,也和重新計算的方法做效能上的比較。 |
英文摘要 | The problem of incremental maintenance of materialized views has become more important due to the development of data warehousing technology. However, most of the previous works on this problem have been confined to relational settings. In object-oriented data warehouses, data are stored as object-oriented materialized views. Due to the characteristics of object-oriented data models, object-oriented data warehouses can deal with more complicated data types. In this paper, we propose an efficient approach to incremental maintenance of materialized SPJ views and aggregative views in object-oriented data warehouses. By utilizing the auxiliary view and finding potential updates, our approach can speed up the maintenance process and reduce the waste of system resources. Besides, our approach can solve the problem caused by concurrent updates occurred in distributed systems, making the state of the data warehouse consistent with the state of the data sources. Finally, we have implemented a prototype system for incremental view maintenance of object-oriented data warehouses and have conducted a preliminary performance evaluation. The result shows that our approach is correct and efficient. |
