中文摘要 | 在世界各地的考古報告中,發現遠古人普遍都有殺殉的儀式。殺殉,可能是殺死或活埋動物,犧牲人類也是屢見不鮮的事情。本文的殺殉儀式著重在犧牲人類的討論。殺殉是一種神聖的儀式,代表對死者或神明的愛護、追思與敬意。他們相信靈魂的存在,靈魂不會死亡散去,所以,生者必須為死者設想,讓他的靈魂得到照料,因之,以人牲或人殉(Human Sacrifice)提供死後的服務,此外,遠古人希望靈魂再生,就以象徵精力的血液塗抹在屍骨上,或散佈在屍骨周圍。倘若耕種田地貧瘠,透過灑上血液的儀式,地力就會恢復,作物能夠豐收。血液的力量強大,以敵人之血釁鼓,敵人的勇氣便疊加在己方,這就是一種順勢巫術。筆者以為複雜的殺殉儀式其實蘊含著泛靈論(Animism)與順勢巫術(homoeopathic magic)的想法,這是一個普遍流行的觀念,所以,大量地反映在各地考古遺址當中。 |
英文摘要 | In the archaeological report all over the world, ancient people have the ceremony for shaxun. Shaxun means to kill or bury an animal alive with the death. To sacrifice humans was a common pheonomenon. This paper focuses on the discussion of sacrificing humans. Shaxun is a holy ceremony expressing care an respects for the death or gods. They believed that the soul exists and will not disappear because of death, so people alive have to consider for the death to let the soul be cared. They use animal or human sacrifice to provide service after death. Besides, ancient people hope the soul to revive, so they daub the blood symbolizing energy on the skeleton or scatter it around the skelecton. The blood has great power. If the enemy's blood is daubed on the drum, the bravery of the enemy will be added to us. This is a kind of homoeopathic magic. In my opinion, the complicated ceremony of shaxun includes the thought of Animism and homoeopathic magic. Since this was a popular concept, so many archaeological excavations reflect it. |
