英文摘要 | The purpose of this study was to understand the parental beliefs of musically talented in senior high school. The subjects were the musically talented students in National Taichung Second Senior High School and their parents. In this study, the qualitative methods by means of in-depth interview, observation, documents as well as openness questionnaire were used to collect qualitative data, and then the constant comparative analysis was used to analyze it. It was concluded as follow: the parental beliefs on work and rest was regular pattern; the parental beliefs on personal relationship was naturalism; the parental beliefs on academics was never oversight due to their musical talent; the parental beliefs on their personality was almost to value the contribution of music training to their personality; the parental beliefs on consumption was different people, different views depending on economic status; the parental beliefs on learning attitude was to approve effort and to ignore talent; the parental beliefs on the sense of valuation was almost Confucianism; the parental beliefs on future perspective was realism. And the students' responses matched their parental beliefs but the sense of valuation and future perspective. Based on the finding of this study, some suggestions were made for facilitating the education of musically talented students. |
