中文摘要 | 隨著網際網路的普及,寬頻服務的增加,伴隨著頻寬需求的大增。為解決網路頻寬的瓶頸並配合數據服務的屬性,同時在光電元件的快速發展背景下,10GE (Gigabit Ethernet)應運而生,打破乙太區域網路的既有現制,向外擴展。最近幾年電信自由化政策的驅動下,CLECs (Competitive Local Exchange Carriers)逐漸成形並引進10GE技術,朝向Carrier等級發展,提供更寬頻的服務。在2002年六月公布IEEE 802.3ae後,奠定10GE 未來穩定發展的基礎。ILECs (Incumbent Local Exchange Carriers)受到10GE強勢優點的驅使下,開始建置GE網路,甚至在都會網路引進10GE技術,但必須面臨SDH網路存廢的爭議。因此本論文將針對10GE、POS(packet over SONET/SDH)、ATM與SDH各種網路架構與傳送技術整合進行比較分析,以提供未來傳送網路的規劃設計之參考。 |
英文摘要 | As Internet is more popular, the versatility of Broadband services accompanies the increment of bandwidth. In order to resolve the bottleneck of bandwidth and adapt to the attributes of data, when optical electronic devices developed swift, 10GE (Gigabit Ethernet) emerges. The circumscription of Ethernet LAN is eliminated and Ethernet is developing incessantly. In recent years the liberalization policy drives the market of telecommunication to be opened, CLECs (Competitive Local Exchange Carriers) germinates gradually and introduce 10GE technology. They accomplish the development of carrier's grade to proffer the services with the broader bandwidth. 10GE settles the groundwork of the stable development in the future while IEEE 802.3ae was announced in June 2002. The excellent traits of 10GE entice ILECs (Incumbent Local Exchange Carriers) to deploy the Gigabit Ethernet, but ILECs must confront the issue, the future of the extant SDH network. Therefore, for 10GE, POS (Packet over SONET/SDH), ATM and SDM, this thesis will analyze the transmission infrastructures and the integrated technology to proffer the planning bluepoint of transmission network. |
