中文摘要 | 本文所要探討的是結合光電取樣技術與多層網路結構來建造一種類神經網路系統,使其能應用於文字辨認。我們利用光學富氏處理器與環形-楔形偵測器取得文字圖形的特徵資料,並將該特徵資料輸入類神經網路。完成網路訓練之後,此類神經網路可達到文字辨認的目的。實驗結果顯示本網路系統具有相當程度的平移、大小及旋轉不變的文字辨認能力。內文中將介紹此文字辨認網路系統架構,並提出與討論其學習與辨認結果。 |
英文摘要 | We propose an artificial neural network with multilayer structure and optical/electronic image preprocessor and its application on character recognition. The feature signals of characters are extracted by using the technique of diffraction-pattern sampling, which consists of a Fourier optical processor and a ring-wedge photodetector, and input to the neural network. After training, the network can recognize the variation version of the trained characters correctly. The capacity of the system for character recognition in translational, rotational, and scale invariance are demonstrated. The results are presented and discussed. |
