中文摘要 | 從過去關於體育保送生的文獻中,可以發現他們在求學過程中,經常面臨學業、訓練與運動退休等問題。 本研究以曾透過體育保送管道進入大學就讀並已畢業,在學期間曾經代表學校或國家參加比賽,目前已就業的八位體育保送生為研究對象,透過訪談、分析相關資料等方式,目的在瞭解這八位一路上發展、適應良好的體育保送生,其過去在學時期的學業與運動訓練經驗、在競技運動中的調適,以及運動退休的情形。 本研究發現,八位運動員在學期間,除了學業與比賽的壓力以外,也有身兼學生、運動選手的雙重角色壓力。課業、運動傷害的陰影、競賽之後面對比賽的輸贏結果,讓他們必須學會在課業與運動中做好安排,而重要他人的引導也幫助運動員適應得更好。八位運動員的高峰表現或經驗,多發生在代表出國比賽,受到教練重用,或得到優秀的競賽成績時。累積多次的成功經驗,也為運動員帶來更多的滿足感與成就感。關於運動退休後的工作,大致有從事體育教學、職業運動、進修以及從事運動相關行業等。一路運動的收穫,除了累積生活經驗,認識朋友外,也學到更專業的運動技能。對於未來的目標,則希望朝著擔任體育教師或教練,及投身專項運動的制度改革而努力。 |
英文摘要 | From the literature concerning elite student athletes, the academic, training, and sport retirement problems are mostly confronted by them. The purpose of the study is to investigate the experiences of eight elite athletes in academics and in sports fields, and to understand their retirement experiences, using in-depth interviews and documents reviewing. The results of this research are as following: Besides the pressure in school lessons and competitions in sport, the eight elite student athletes multiple roles and physical injuries also troubled them. As elite student athletes, they adjusted themselves in academics and winning and losing. Important characters such as coaches played a significant part in the careers of athletes. The peak performances or experiences of the eight elite student athletes occurred as they competed excellently abroad as important members of national teams. After retiring from sports, the eight elite athletes chose to be physical education teachers, professional players, researchers, or other jobs related to sports. Looking back at the past, the eight elite athletes found that they had attained tremendously from sports, such as the experiences of colorful life, getting to know friends, learning professional skills, being coaches, and going around in Taiwan or abroad to compete for medals. As for their goals for the future, the eight elite athletes mentioned that they would go on to be good physical education teachers and part-time or full-time coaches. Some would also contribute their life to making better changes for sport systems. Tough as the situation may be, some elite student athletes still survive and thrive with the outer resources and self-adjustment. Ideas about gifted education that might apply to student athletes are also discussed. |
