中文摘要 | 塔塔加高山森林地區具有多樣性的植被組成,本研究於此地雲杉及鐵杉林型內探討臺灣高山小型鼠類之族群與群聚生態。自1998年8月至1999年8月間,每月中旬於雲杉森林樣區進行連續3至5個捕捉夜(trap-nights)之捕捉,鐵杉林樣區則向1998年12月起。雲杉林樣區,共獲得5種小型鼠類,及高山白腹鼠(Niviventer culturatus)、高山田鼠(Volemys kikuchii)、森鼠(Apodemus semotus)、黑腹絨鼠(Eothenomy melanogaster)及刺鼠(Niviventer coxinga)。在鐵杉林樣區除刺鼠外則獲得其他4種小型鼠類。二個森林樣區小型鼠類的Shannon多樣性指數,在雲杉林為1.37,鐵杉林為1.06。二樣區每月所有物種之捕捉總個總數,在1999年3月雲杉林26隻,7月鐵杉林22隻為高峰,而雲杉林在1999年6月時6隻為最低,鐵杉林最低捕捉個體數是在1999年1月時為3隻。各物種間之族群量月變化趨勢相當一致,推測調控各物種族群的變動因子應可能來自於環境上氣候、食物等外源性因子。 |
英文摘要 | Population and community ecology of small rodents were studied via mark-recapture in Tatachia area of Yushan National Park, also as part of the Experimental Forest of National Taiwan University, from Aug. 1998 to Aug. 1999. Five species of small rodents were trapped in the grid of Morrison spruce, i.e. Apodemus semontus, Niviventer culturatus, Niviventer coxinga, Volemys kikuchii and Eothenomys melanogaster. Except Niviventer coxinga, the same four species of small rodents were also trapped in the grid of Chinese hemlock. The species diversity estimated by Shannon's equation was 1.37 in the Morrison spruce habitat and 1.06 in the Chinese hemlock habitat. The highest peak of captured individuals was found in Mar. 1999 at the Morrison spruce habitat and in Jul. 1999 in the Chinese Hemlock habitat. The lowest was found in Jun. 1999 in the Morrison spruce habitat and in Jan. 1999 in the Chinese hemlock habitat. The fluctuation in population abundance of each rodent species was synchronized. It was suggested that the climatic and trophic factors might account for the modification in population dynamics. |
