中文摘要 | 本研究透過相關文獻與法規的探討,分析在轉型快速的現代社會中,幼托機構面對環境及生態變遷所應採取的因應態度與轉型方式。首先,本研究探討目前幼托機構面臨的重大變革,以及這些變革對幼托機構造成的競爭與衝擊,包括出生率降低、幼兒美語的盛行,以及九十四學年度國民教育往下延伸、幼托整合政策等議題。此外,藉由對幼托環境與幼托機構SWOT的分析,提出員工授能(empowerment)管理、專業特色與使命感之建立、社區組織與活動參與等因應策略與轉機機制。 |
英文摘要 | This study seeks understand how early years providers survive in and adapt to a changing society through review of literature and related regulations. The study explores current educational decisions and social tendencies, and how these decisions and tendencies affect early years providers in their survival and management process. These decisions and tendencies include a decrease in the number of young children while the birth rate is still decreasing, a strong desire of parents to provide an English program for their young children, the policy decision to extend compulsory education to five year old children and the integration of kindergartens and nurseries. After understanding current challenges for early years providers, the study analyzes strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to early years providers through the SWOT technique. Based on the analysis, three possible ways of renewal are recommended. They are a school-based self-empowerment strategy, professional identity and commitment development, and community building. |
