英文摘要 | In this paer the meaning of cultural difference is inquired into in terms of the phenomenological concept of appresentation. I first point out that the topic of cultural difference is although implicitly dealt with in Husserl and Schutz, they nevertheless dismiss this issue because they advocate what is common among cultures. I lay out the meaning of cultural difference on the basis that the difference between cultures can be shown significantly only against the background of common side between them. Accordingly I find the notion of appresentation particularly useful in this context, since appresentation cannot be but in connection with what is present directly. The latter is common to all cultures whereas the former is differentiated from culture to culture. |
