中文摘要 | 傳統幾何的課程、教材的呈現是靜態的。對大部份的學生而言幾何證明是一場惡夢,很少學生能夠如同專家一樣享受發現的樂趣;可是證明又是數學學習中最重要的一環。如何應用有效的電腦軟體融入我們的教學中,使靜態的幾何變成動態,為死氣沉沉的幾何學習注入新生命,實是我們從事數學教育者必須努力赴的。 本研究的目的是建構及設計可以用電子幾何板(Geometer's Sketchpad)來從事數學教學的情境及教育。古典、變換、軌跡及解析幾何都是擬設計的主題之一。在建構的過程裡將採用多重表徵理論(multiple representations)利用電子幾何板的特性,創造出下列模式: (1)圖形模式(graphical mode)-探索各種圖形變化 (2)數值模式(numerical mode)-對應數值的變化 (3)文字模式(text mode)-問題的呈現或說明 圖形模式是可操作的:亦即使用者可以更變圖徵模式中預留的操控點,其對應的圖形將因而快速地更動,其變動的數值亦可做成表格(table)加以探究,最後抽取變化中的不變性質(invariant),數學定理(theorems)因而被創造。 |
英文摘要 | The mathematics curriculum is commonly considered inadequate, especially the traditional textbook can not present and solve geometric problems dynamically. As mathematics teachers, we should assume the responsibility of designing a new mathematics curriculum for our students in the Hi-tech Era. The purpose of this study is to design a computer microworld for geometry instruction. The topics will cover the Euclidean, transformation, trance and analytic geometry. The multiple representations theory will be employed for the design. This microworld will build up in the Geometers' Sketchpad software. Three modes will be constructed in this microwrld (i)graphical mode-to explore a situation (ii)numerical model-to correspond to the changes (iii)text mode-to explain or illustrate the problems All these three modes are linked. Whenever the user changes the crucial point, the related figures will be dynamically changed. The researcher held an experts meeting when this microwold was completed, and presented the final product to the mathematics teachers team. |
