中文摘要 | 轉注成型提供了玻璃強化纖維複合材料製品另一種加工程序。由於纖維蓆裁切尺寸無法精確地與金屬模具模穴密合,使內模壁和纖維材側邊存在細小間隙,形成充填過程的邊際效應,進而造成樹脂流經纖維蓆流動波前的不一致性,因而產生色圍氣泡,影響製品品質甚鉅。 本研究中以視流法觀測技巧,探討不同空孔度玻璃強化纖維材、樹脂射壓、進澆口位置和邊際效應間隙等情形下,對於轉注成型充模過程中強化玻璃纖維材內部巨觀氣泡生成機制的影響。實驗結果顯示,射壓愈大,初始邊際效應也愈明顯,因自由流動區和強化材區兩者對流體流動阻礙程度相差甚大,使得流動波前移動位置出現非平坦狀,同時造成被包陷空氣形成的氣泡幾何形狀亦有所不同。 |
英文摘要 | Resin transfer molding (RTM) offers an alternative to fabricate glass fiber reinforced composites. Because the preform can't be cut precisely to match with the cavity dimension, an edge effect will be found during mold filling process. Then bubbles are trapped inside reinforced materials to form voids and the mechanical properties simultaneously decreased. In the present work, a flow visualization method is used to observe the mechanism of void formation under various parameters, such as porosity, injection pressure, gate position, and side gap between reinforced material and inside wall of mold during RTM mold filling process. Experimental results show that owing to the edge effect, the flow front of fluid is not flat. Besides, initial edge effect on permeation of fluid into reinforced material is more obvious with larger injection pressure. |
