英文摘要 | This work describes a medical image coder based on a hybrid wavelet de-ringing algorithm. In the proposed algorithm, we use spectrum reorganization, classification, block similarity, and de-ringing filter to encode medical image. We reorganize the coefficients of each wavelet tree to a wavelet block to reduce image complexity. After the spatial location of the block gathering operation, classification and block similarity further reduce the total bit rate. Meanwhile, a set of morphological filters to reduce the ringing artifacts is presented. It uses 8 predefined morphological operations, including 4 structuring elements (SE) with both dilation and erosion. By the voting strategy, the most suitable morphological filter for each block is selected. Experimental results show that the proposed technique improves the quality of the reconstructed image in both PSNR and perceptual result when compare to JPEG2000 at the same bit rate. |
