中文摘要 | 本研究係以無電鍍共析鍍法來製備鈀銀/氧化鋁複合膜,並以SEM,XRD及EDS來探討析鍍時間及熱處理對鍍層表面型態及鈀銀組成之影響。另外,亦以氮氣透過法來鑑定複合膜之孔洞結構。實驗結果顯示,當析鍍時間由4小時增加至8小時,鍍層中銀之莫耳分率由0.23提高至0.38。鈀銀鍍層會隨著析鍍時間增加而趨向樹枝狀結構,此乃因鈀、銀析鍍速率不同所致。此複合膜經氬氣氣氛,溫度 750°C,持溫12小時後,鈀銀晶粒因燒結而留下許多空隙。因此,氮氣之透過係數隨析鍍時間增加而增大。鈀銀層之平均孔徑估計約為0.32μm。且在8 小時之析鍍時間內幾乎不變。由於鈀銀鍍層之樹枝狀結構造成氮氣之大量滲透,此現象很難藉其後之熱處理步驟來改善複合膜之緻密性。 |
英文摘要 | In this work, palladium-silver alloy membranes were prepared by electroless codeposition technique. The effects of plating time and heat treatment on the surface morphology and composition of the deposited PdAg layer were investigated by means of SEM, XRD and EDS. The pore structure of the resultant composite membranes was also characterized by the nitrogen permeability technique. The experimental results show that the mole fraction of Ag in the deposited layer is increased frof!l..0.23 to 0.38 as the plating time increases from 4 to 8 h. Moreover, as the plating time increases, the PdAg co-deposited layer tends to be more dendritic. These are attributed from different deposition rates of Pd and Ag. After heated at 750°C for 12 h in argon atmosphere, instead of densification, the sintering of PdAg grains causes many voids remaining in the PdAg layer. Hence, the nitrogen permeability across the PdAg layer is increased with increasing the plating time. The average pore size of the PdAg layer is determined as about 0.32μm, and almost independent on the plating time within 8 h. The dendritic structure of PdAg/Al₂O₃ composite membranes resulting in the vast leakage of nitrogen, however, is difficult to be improved by way of heat treatment. |
