中文摘要 | 本文比較康德與羅耐剛的知識論。在康德的知識論中,悟性只對感性顯象加工,理性則只對悟性加工。而且悟性與理性兩官能不是直觀的官能,因此不具認知性格,對對象不提供新的實在的認知。所以人的認知方式決定於感性直觀。感性直觀所獲得的是顯象,因此人能夠認知的只是顯象,而與物自體無關。在羅耐剛的知識論裡,我們的認知官能是一個要達到存有的認知官能,其主觀的先驗條件是先驗的存有概念。我們的認知官能自始尋求存有,結束於肯定存有。所謂認知的真理是,我們的理解與實在一致;而不是康德所認為的,在於認知與主體先驗法則一致。因為限定對象之意義與範圍的,是認知的意向性,而不是那個直觀。 |
英文摘要 | According to Kant’s theory knowledge, understanding only works on sense experience, and reason applies itself only on understanding. As understanding and reason are not intuitive faculties, they are not cognitive by themselves and to not offer new cognitive content. Hence, human knowledge is determined by sense intuition. Since sense intuition only reaches the appearances of things, human beings know only the appearances and not the thing-in-itself. According to Lonergan’s epistemology, our cognitive faculty is a faculty for being. The a priori structure of cognitive power is conditioned by the idea of being. Cognition begins with an inquiry for being and is achieved by the affirmation of being. Truth of knowledge is the adequacy of understanding and being, and not as Kant maintains, the conformity to the a prior conditions of the subject. It is internationality that determined the content and range of human knowing, but not sense intuition. |
