中文摘要 | 近年來由於軸重與胎壓的增加,使得輪胎和鋪面的接觸壓力大幅提高,是故造成許多鋪面發生嚴重的車轍而提前破壞。粒料佔瀝青混凝土重量約94%,故瀝青混凝土之鋪面成效深受粒料性質所影響。本研究係針對Superpave規範之粒料性質試驗進行評估,選擇四種不同之粗、細粒料,配合相同的瀝青(針入度85/100)和級配(公路局IVC)作為試驗材料,以Superpave Level 1配合設計法決定各種瀝青混凝土組合之最佳瀝青含量並製作試體。本研究探討之粒料性質為粗、細骨材之粒料多角性。此外考慮靜態潛變試驗、重覆荷重潛變和車轍輪跡試驗等作為與永久變形有關之成效試驗。試驗結果顯示:瀝青混凝土中之粒料愈具多角性,其抵抗永久變形的能力愈佳。 |
英文摘要 | In recent years, the increase in both axle load and tire pressure have resulted in a great increase in the contact pressure. These developments have led to many premature pavement failures due to severe rutting in the wheel paths. Because aggregates constitute about 94% by weight of hot-mix asphalt mixtures, the pavement performance was greatly affected and influenced by the properties of aggregates. It is needed to evaluate these aggregate tests that can be used to characterize aggregate properties and to ensure the rutting resistance of mixtures. Four coarse aggregates and five fine aggregates are chosen to provide a wide range of aggregate properties. The uncompacted void content of coarse and fine aggregate were used to determine the aggregate angularity in this study. The Superpave Level 1 mix design is conducted on test aggregate blends with the same gradation and binders. The HMA mixtures are evaluated for rutting potential by using the static creep test, the repeated load creep test and the wheel-tracking test. The test results indicated that the greater angularity of aggregate, the greater the resistance of HMA to permanent deformation. |
