中文摘要 | 公視新聞節目由於起步較晚,又受制於節目類型,勢必應在時段與內容題材上與其他媒體有所區隔。由於公視具有公共服務的精神與本質,在商業機制媒體環伺的競爭趨勢下,公視新聞節目除了重視收視率的表現之外,更應重視收視質指標的建立與評估。本研究藉由多苀研究方法,深入探討本地閱聽眾對於「公視新聞深度報導」在收視質上的反應,再輔以學者專家之意見,為「公視新聞深度報導」的節目規畫提出建議。 本研究以觀眾分析與焦點團體訪談的研究方法針對改版前與改版後之「公視新聞深度報導」節目進行比較與分析。探討閱聽人在時段安排、報導內容、主播與記?表以及節目定位等面向上有些什麼看法與意見。並進一步比較改版前與改版後的「公視新聞深度報導」與「七點看世界」節目之收視質表現。在收視質的分析上,本研究以十個收視質指標建構觀眾對於「公視新聞深度報導」之欣賞指數。在深度訪談部份,由七位社會人士與專家學者對於公視新聞的現況與發展提出建設性的見解。 |
英文摘要 | The long awaited Taiwan Public Television Service (in short, PTS) was established on July 1, 1998 and aimed at setting up a popular broadcasting institution that serves the public. In a broadcasting environment where commercial media is the main trend, PTS in Taiwan should not only improve its TV ratings but also put more emphasis on its qualitative ratings. To distinguish itself with the other commercial media, PTS should strive for its mission in the development of high-quality programs. To better understand the program quality and the feedback of the audience toward PTS news program-"In-Depth Reports", the current study employs research methods including participatory observation, study employs research methods including participatory observation, focus group, and in-depth interviews. The program scheduling, content, the reporter's performance, as well as the technical designs are examined before and after the program reform on April 9,2001. The results show that the audience has rated "In-Depth Reports" quite high in terms of the 10indicators on qualitative ratings. The audience applauds the international news reports of PTS for their high quality and suggests more in-depth reports on domestic events such as economic news, sports, and tourism. |
