中文摘要 | 1919年1月1日,共有21篇<孔教論>刊登於《臺灣文藝叢誌》第壹號。對目前臺灣儒學研究現況而言,這麼多篇的<孔教論>留存於今日,是一件極為難得的事情,但卻鮮少引起學皷之注意,至今未曾進行研究。本文研究目的有二,一是透過這些<孔教論>而探討日據時期殖民起政權與臺灣傳統知識份子之互動關係,企圖打破已往以「民族意」為主之臺灣儒學研究方法;二是由闡明1919年殖民地臺灣所產生的「孔教」話語之多元性,來顛覆「統治者(主動)/被統治者(被動)」「御用/抗日」等二元對立思考模式。同時期望有助於對日據時期臺灣儒學相關情形之瞭解。 |
英文摘要 | On the first day of 1919, 12 articles with the title “On Confucianism” were included in the first issue of “Taiwan Literary of Art.” For the study of Confucianism in Taiwan, it is a valuable asset that so many articles are kept till the present time. Yet, few scholars have paid attention to it. This study investigates these articles with two purposes: first, to challenge the scholarship of Confucian study based on the so-called “ethnical consciousness,” by showing the interplay between the colonial regime of Japanese Occupation and the traditional Taiwanese intellectuals; second, to contradict the dialectical pattern supported by the binary opposition of “the ruler (active)/the rules (passive),” and that of “imperial/anti-Japanese,” by laying bare of the multiple spectrum of Confucian study during the period. It is also hoped that this study can help understanding more about the Confucian study during the Japanese rule. |
