中文摘要 | 本研究運用問卷調查與訪談法,來瞭解不同年級的國小男女學童情緒智力的差異情形,藉由研究者自編的「國民小學學生班級生活情況量表」施測,實際回收樣本共1204位,訪談樣本共30位,獲得以下結論: 1.國小學童在「情緒思考」部分表現最好,其次才是「情緒管理」、「情緒知識」、「情緒表達」,此結果與Salovey與Mayer (1997) 的理論並不一致,可能是因為中西文化差異所造成的; 2.國小女性學童的整體情緒智力與「情緒思考」、「情緒管理」的表現較男生佳,可能是因為女性在我國傳統社會受到的支持較多,而女性也較會尋求他人幫助的影響; 3.比較不同年級學生發現,中年級的國小學生情緒智力表現優於低、高年級的學生,而低年級學生則表現優於高年級學生,可能是因為年級越高的孩子其心理壓力越大、社會支持越少所致。 期望能以此驗證性資料充實教育學界,並提供給教師等相關人員參考,以促進兩性平等教育的發展。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this study was to describe the difference of male and female students' emotional intelligence. Using the questionnaire survey methods, the researcher designed the self-reporting scales that focused on four conceptual areas of students' emotional intelligence, with a reasonably high level of reliability and validity. The valid sample included 1,204 elementary school students. Besides this, the researcher also interviewed 30 students to get the quality data. The main findings of this study were as follows: 1.Students performed a series of tests of the following skills: emotional thinking, emotional management, emotional knowledge, and emotional expression. This result was different from the theory of Salovey & Mayer (1997). 2.Female students' emotional thinking, emotional management and total emotional intelligence were better than male students'. 3. With regard to comparison of students in different grades, the 4th grade students got higher scores than the 2nd and 6th grade students. The 2nd grade students also got higher scores than the 6th grade students. On the basis of the above findings, implications were drawn regarding the practice of gender education, and suggestions for further research were proposed. |
