中文摘要 | 由於「技術理性」的高度發展,現代教育逐漸產生「機械化」、「單元化」、「功利化」的現象,使得教育的內涵和價值不斷地窄化和片面化,台灣近十年來的教育改革,不乏要求「人文化」、「人性化」的口號,改革者紛紛要求重新審視教育的「人文精神」,進而思索教育的本質和結果,以期真正做到學習者有最佳的機會和環境接受「全人」教育,使其個性和能力得以充分發展,進而促進個人和整體社會的生活福祉。 本文的目的即在從歷史的角度和眼光,從頭探索義大利人文主義所倡導的人文思維,以重塑人文教育的內涵和實踐。人文教育無論是在教育目的、內容和方法上均以「人之所以成人」的意像去思考和設計,要求身、心、靈三者的提昇,培養德術兼顧的公民,對於當代民主社會的教育將有所啟發。 |
英文摘要 | Humanism is the basic educational philosophy of the Renaissance. Paul Oskar Kristeller ever defined Humanism is focus on the study of what it meant to be human (Kallendorf, 2003). Being a welll-rounded man, Humanists stressed and valued the importance of individual experience and civic service. The aim of the paper was to explore the humanistic educational thoughts and practices from historical context. We hope the contents will have some revelations to nowadays education. For Italian theorists, educational ideal involved the education of the individual from the broadest possible perspectives, aimed at a sound mind in a sound body, with the intellectual in harmony with the spiritual. The program is designed for the general education of princes and aristocrats with civic obligations, the disciplines to be studied are the ones appropriate to a free man, moral philosophy, history, poetry, grammar and rhetorical guide and enrich their lives. The attitudes and methods of humanists about education were secular, concrete, self-expression and self-control. |
