中文摘要 | 適度規律的運動可以增進免疫功能,長時間高強度的運動則會引起血液中白血球DNA斷裂,造成白血球死亡,可能會影響運動者之身體健康。本研究之目的主要是在觀察一般大學男生進行十公里跑步前後血液中白血球DNA斷裂情形,用以評估十公里跑步活動,對一般大學男生血液中白血球是否造成傷害。5位大學男生為自願受測者,進行一次10公里跑步,血液樣本在跑十公里前10分鐘,跑步後0分、3小時、6小時、24小時於受測者前手臂抽取。血液樣本經DNA分離及瓊脂電泳處理後(Agarose gel electrophoresis)發現:十公里跑步確實引起一般大學男生周邊血液中白血球DNA在跑步後0分、3小時、6小時、24小時有明顯斷裂的現象發生,此種運動後周邊血液中白血球DNA斷裂的現象對人體健康可能有負面的影響,其引起機制及對人體健康之意義尚須進一步探究。 |
英文摘要 | Moderate exercise enhances immunity. Prolonged intense exercise may induce leukocytes DNA damage in peripheral blood and following leukocytes death, which may have negative impact on health. The purpose of this study was to observe the leukocytes DNA fragmentation after a 10-kilometer race in health male college students. Five voluntary male college students underwent a 10-kilometer race, blood sample were taken from subjects’ forearm veins 10 minutes before, immediately, 3 hours, 6 hours and hours after the race. Blood samples were treated by leukocytes DNA isolation and agarose gel electrophoresis techniques. Leukocyte DNA damage were apparent at immediately, 3 hours, 6 hours and 24 hours after the race. Leukocyte DNA damage after prolonged exercise may have negative impact on health. The mechanism and implication on human health need further exploration. |
