英文摘要 | According to statistics of Exports & Imports, Taiwan Area, R.O.C., annual export production of fasteners is stilton the slight increase. However total production value for export declines gradually. It indicates the unit price lowers year by year. The net profit is getting worse than ever before. Facing such competitive pressure, Taiwan fastener industry theoretically should switch to high value added products, including aerospace, automobile and 3C fasteners in the future. However it can’t be materialized within a short pried of time. For survival, Taiwan fastener industry has to be dedicated to improve its internal management system. Six sigma demonstrates dramatic success and has been approved by some well-known enterprises such as Motorola, GE, Texas Instrument, Kodak, HP, Ford and so on. Besides six sigma could become the solution to business growth in both quantity and profit in a short term period. This article aims to offer this solution to Taiwan fastener industry by following the steps of successful companies, learning and applying their experiences with hope that smooth and effective application of six sigma into Taiwan fastener industry can create an economical miracle once again. |
