中文摘要 | 本文利用臺灣地區遠洋漁業經營調查報告之原始調查資料,經由隨機性邊界生產函數法對臺灣六種作業型態的遠洋漁換爐進行生產技術效率之分析。資料為1999年7月至2000年6月,調查內容包括單船拖網、雙船拖網、鮪延繩釣、?釣及大型圍網等漁撈體。研究結果發現,魷釣勞動投入對魷釣產出的影響最大。單船拖網及鮪延繩釣變動投入對單船拖網及鮪延繩釣產出的影響最大。除美式圍網及單船拖網外,雙船拖網、鮪延繩釣、魷釣及日式圍網,隨著資本投入增加對產出增加的影響有減緩的趨勢,甚至出現負相關。平均技糐效率值依序為鮪延繩釣0.966,日式圍網0.932、美式圍網0.844、雙船拖網0.839、單船拖網0.831及魷釣0.788。以鮪延繩釣、日式圍網的平均技術效率值最高。而生產成本及單位產量是影響遠洋漁業生產技術效率的最重要因子,因此如何降低生產成本及提昇漁獲量,將有助於遠洋漁業生產技術效率提昇。 |
英文摘要 | This paper employed stochastic production frontier technique to examine the levels and determinants of technical efficiency in six types of deep-sea fisheries in Taiwan. Data were gathered from Fisheries industry production economic in deep-sea of Taiwan area survey, conducted during July 1999 to June 2000. The type of survey included long line, single trawl, purse seine, purse seine, bull trawl and squid jigging fishing vessels. The empirical results reveal that squid jigging production are more responsive to changes in labor input than other inputs. Single trawl and tuna long line production are more responsive to changes in variable input than other inputs. Apart form purse sine for tuna and single trawl, the results indicated bull trawl, tuna long line, squid jigging, and purse seine for mackerel fisheries production were decreased when the capital inputs raised. The mean technical efficiencies for long line, purse seine for mackerel, purse seine for tuna, single trawl, bull trawl and squid jigging are estimated to be 0.966, 0.954, 0.932, 0.844, 0.831 and 0.788. The highest one is tuna long line and single trawl fishing vessels. Much of these efficiency gains would come from production cost to come down and output level to increase. |
