中文摘要 | 光復之後,政府曾擬定通臺中港五年復建計畫,惟因省府財政拮据而被迫中止。自一九四七年(民國三十六年)開始,中部人士積極北上陳情,希望能促進臺中港之重建,終於在一九七一年(民國六十年)正式成立「通港工程局」,推動建港工程,一九七六年(民國六十五年)臺中港第一期工程完成後開放營運,為帶來了梧棲水陸交通發展的契機。 本文的研究,係以梧棲水陸交通發展與臺中港開港為探討主題,首先分就清代以前、港領時期、日治時期三個時期,論述臺中港開港以前梧棲的水陸交通。其次,敘述臺中港開港工程,並探應開港之後梧棲水陸交臺的改變及影響。 |
英文摘要 | Wuchi used to be a small fishery harbor besides middle-west cost on Taiwan, until Chien-Long period of Chkng dynasty. During Tao-Kwang period, Wuchi was not only a transitional location along the coast of western Taiwan, but an export harbor of farm harvest. There were twenty there warehouses (five Hwang’s and eighteen Tsai’s) and forty six shops. In the Tung-Chih period, it had occurred “The Camphor War”. This incident resulted Wuchi became more important in Taiwan developing history. In the early japan occupied period, Wuchi had been already to be ordered a “special export and import harbor”. Taiwan’s governor general prepared the construction plan of Hsin-Kao urban development. Due to tense of “The Pacific War”, the plan about Hsin-Kao port was forced to cease. After retrocession form Japan occupied period, the government drew up reconstruction plan about Taichung Harbor for five years, but was finally forced to terminate because of financial reasons. Some officials form Taichung area went to Taipei to give a fully statement about the reconstruction plan after 1947. It established “Taichung Habor Engineering Bureau” formally in 1971 to advocate building project. In 1976, the first stage project was completed and then opened to trade. It brings the opportunity that development of Wuchi’s traffic on water and land. |
