中文摘要 | 歐斯能力測驗係為認知能力測之一種,其常為學校測驗單位遴選作為評量學生的學習潛能。本研究之目的在於驗證此測驗所評量之潛在結構是否與人類階層結構能力理論相吻合。本研究提出兩種階層結構能力理論,其中一種理論係為高層結構直接影響我們所觀察到的評量變項,另一種理論則認為高層結構影響次層結構,而次層結構再直接影響我們所觀察到的評量變項。本研究採取潛在結構模式分析9190個受試樣本,結果顯示支扲第一種階層結構能力理論模式。有關如何應用本研究亦在本文中加以討論之。 |
英文摘要 | The Oits-Lennon School Ability Test (OLSAT) is one of the cognitive tests that has been used in schools to measure students’ learning abilities. The purpose of the current research was to test whether the underlying structure of the OLSAT is consistent with the hierarchical-structure model of human abilities. Two types of hierarchical-structure model was proposed and evaluated with the OLSAT data using a large sample size of 9190. One is that the hierarchical factor has direct effects on the observed measured variables; the other is that the higher-order (e.g., second-order) factor has direct effects on the lower-order (e.g., first-order) factors rather than on the observed measured variables. The structural equation modeling (SEM) approach was employed. Results indicated that the proposed hierarchical factor structure model fit the data well; however, the second-order model was difficult to fit to the data. Implications of these findings are discussed. |
