中文摘要 | 本篇文章主要提出了以爪哇(Java)技術作為基礎分散式網路平臺和搭配採用IEEE標準1516-高階架構(High Level Architecture)所設計的異質性分散式互動環境(Heterogeneous Interactive Distributed Environment; HIDE)。我們所提出的HIDE系統緊密地運用了HLA Run Time Infrastructure (RTI)、Java Remote Method Invocation (RMI)和Java 3D Application Programming Interface (API)等技術,其主要目的是提供跨平臺可多人互動的分散式網路虛擬環境(networked virtual environments)。在本篇文章中除了提出大型分散式平臺設計的模型架構外,並且設計了動態負載平衡法(dynamic load-sharing method)進行各伺服器間的第一層負載平衡處理。此外HIDE系統的客戶端程式採用Java 3D API進行各伺服器間的第一層負載平衡處理。此外HIDE系統的客戶端程式採用Java 3D API技術,利用Java 3DAPI建構出客戶端的三維圖形介面及同步場景;值得注意的是傳統上客戶端和伺服器端的網路連結是構築在Socket溝通的連結方式上,而我們採用在客戶端與伺服器端之間的資訊傳遞模式是透過Java RMI技術達到相互溝通的目的,伺服器端與伺服器端間則是採用HLA RTI來何持聯繫;我們所提出來的HIDE系統為架構在三層式的資料網路傳輸機制上,因此能提供一個具高度實用性、擴展性且能支援三維虛擬場景的異質性互動分散式環境。 |
英文摘要 | This paper describes the design of a scalable multi-server architecture to support an interactive 3D scene graph construction using Java technology and IEEE standard 1515-High Level Architecture (HLA). Based on the Run-Time Infrastructure (RTI) services within HLA and Java application programming interface (API) of the RTI, the proposed Heterogeneous Interactive Distributed Environment (HIDE) provides a practical foundation to enhance interactivity, portability, and interoperability for developing a large-scale distributed architecture. In addition, a load-sharing strategy is adopted to overcome the load imbalance problem among the HLA federate servers. Moreover, three-dimensional synthetic worlds are built by means of Java 3D API in which it could support a simple, portable, and flexible programming model for 3D scenes. Java Remote Method Invocation (RMI) is used to serve as the communication interface between client hosts and the HLA federate servers. From the system implementation and experimental results, we show that the proposed HIDE system is a practical and scalable design for the moderate DVE. |
