中文摘要 | 西方文化對中國教育的影響是錯綜複雜的。我們很難明確指出,西方文化的哪些成分影響或促發了現代中國教育哪一方面或哪一部份的變化。本文重點在於西方一些哲學和教育理論,對現代中國基本教育理念的形成,產生了什麼樣顯著的影響。其中之一是杜威的實用主義。杜威哲學與新儒學、三民主義的比較,以及杜威哲學對現代中國教育改革的影響,在本文中都有描述。 |
英文摘要 | Education is a value-oriented activity, with the purpose that people can obtain healthy development. Nowadays there are some educational problems which have been caused by the misleading of some thinking on education. That is why the ideal objectives of education have not been reached yet. For the subjects and the objects of educational activities are both human beings, the problems are obviously derived from men themselves. The present thesis aims to (l)do a literature analysis on existentialism which appeared in Europe in the first decades of the 20th century, (2) search and find out it's implications for the Chinese education on Taiwan. The existentialists are concerned with the problems of individual existence. They emphasize the subjectivity of knowledge, the value of one's free choice, and the autonomy of the individual. They claim that education must be set to foster a person to be authentic, initiative, autonomous, and responsible by means of humanities-centered curriculum, heuristic method, and a good teacher-student relationship based on real communication. Such an educational thought will be very useful for our educational practice today. |
