中文摘要 | 目的:瞭解花蓮地區民眾對於老人失智症的知識及態度。材料與方法:以方便取樣的方式選擇符合收案條件的200位花蓮地區民眾為研究對象,並以結構式問卷收集資料,問卷內容包括民眾基本屬性、失智症知識量表及失智症態度量表。結果:疾病知識方面答對百分率為73.22%,平均得分為23.43分(SD=5.69)。答對率百分比最低的前三項則依序為:(1)不知道失智症患者可以申請重大傷病卡;(2)不知道將老人失智症患者隔離於房間內,是不適當的照護方式;(3)誤以為老人失智症和一般正常的老化現象相同。疾病態度方面則抱持中立偏正向的態度。結論:本研究結果將有助於護理人員瞭解一般民眾對於老人失智症的知識及態度,以作為日後提供衛教的參考,讓失失智老人能獲得良好的照護品質及尊重。 |
英文摘要 | Objective: To explore senile dementia-related knowledge and attitudes of the general population in the Hualien area of Taiwan. Materials and Methods: For convenience of sampling, this study adopted 200 samples from qualified citizens in the Hualien area. A structured questionnaire was used. The questionnaire was divided into three parts including, "characteristics of the samples", "dementia-related knowledge inventory", and "dementia-related attitude inventory". Results: The percentage of correct answers about dementia-related knowledge was 73.22%, and the average score was 23.43 (SD=5.69). The lowest scores on knowledge inventory were on the following items: (1)Patients with serious dementia are eligible for a "Serious Illness Card." (2)Isolating dementia patients in a separate room is inappropriate. (3)Dementia is not a normal aging process. Attitudes toward dementia patient were slightly positive. Conclusions: This study is helpful for nurses to understand dementia knowledge and attitudes of the general population. It is also a useful reference to carry out dementia-related educational programs so that dementia patients can receive a better quality of care and live their lives with dignity. |
