中文摘要 | 歷史何為?這是關乎詩學的問題。一個無能感應詩的時代,也就無能去行為歷史。 二次戰後,「歷史終結」的信息遍傳世界。歷史終結意味詩的淪喪,即人的消亡。這並非指涉人類作為一物種自地球滅絕,而是表示人自我放棄以「人」的姿態與本質活著並死著;他只願退縮回物的維度,與鳥獸爭食,如草木般漫無目的地迎風招搖,千古如常。天地萬物自有其本性,望向諸神的有靈之人設若自決縮瑟於大地之懷以達乎物,這亦是無可勉抗;但即便如此,這刻意沉湎於物的縱慾族類也必定只會耗毀自然,終造成自己和萬物的滅亡。 那麼,如何讓歷史曙光重現?必先有詩。而詩,只在悲劇中以其自明本質存在。要於此歐化的末世完成並再生歷史,唯有覓得歐洲悲劇輪迴之鑰。 |
英文摘要 | What is history for? That is a question about poetics. An era unable to sense poetry, an era unable to act history. After World War II, the message of "history is ending" prevails. The end of history means the decay of poetry, the downfall of man. This does not refer that the human being as a species degenerates from the earth; this contrarily shows the man deserts himself living and dying in the figure and essence as "man." He is only willing to shrink back to the dimension of material, fighting for food against animals and waving like plants in the wind, endlessly and without sense. Things on earth are in their nature. If he, the soulful man facing the gods, decides to hide himself into the earth for being Thing, none can resist the day of doom. However, as it has to be so, this species saturating itself in material desire cannot but just exhaust Nature and lead all to destruction. Then, how shall we evoke the dawn of history? There must firstly be poetry. And poetry, only in tragedy, poetry is in itself. If we want to accomplish and recreate history in the end of the Europeanized world, we have to find the key in European tragedy toward reincarnation. |
