中文摘要 | 本研究主要是探討道路標線亮度對比對車輛駕駛人的反應之影響,期望據以建立一種道路標線維護保養之參考。本研究也同時探討駕駛人對已熟悉的道路標線之反應,是否存在實體識別反應較意義識別反應快速且正確之現象。實驗選擇較為常見之六種交通標線作為刺激材料。實驗自變數包括亮度對比、練習與識別方法,亮度對比係在不同的亮度背景路面上,採取五種不同的標線亮度,形成五種亮度對比水準。識別方法則分為意義識別與實體識別兩個水準。實驗因變數為反應時間及反應正確率。實驗結果顯示亮度對比對反應時間有顯著影響,受試者對低亮度對比之標線反應時間遠高於其他較高亮度對比之反應時間。練習對反應時間亦有顯著影響,受試者在初始的練習集區之反應時間高於後續集區之反應,但亮度對比與練習集區的交互項無顯著差異。此一結果驗證道路標線亮度對比對駕駛人反應速度有顯著的影響,當標線的亮度對比低於本實驗中低亮度對比時,就應檢討重新劃設。識別方法對於反應時間無顯著差異,此一結果與一般處理層級理論有顯著不同。 |
英文摘要 | An experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of luminance contrast for road marking on drivers' response. Six road markings were selected to be the stimuli. Luminance contrast, method of identification, and number of practice blocks were considered independent variables. There are five levels of luminance contrast (highest, higher, median, lower and lowest), and two methods of identification (physical versus meaning identification). Each subject was tested on five successive practice blocks. The performance measures were response time and percent correct. Statistical analysis showed that luminance contrast affect drivers' response time significantly. Subjects responded faster to the first four higher levels of luminance contrast, and the response time increased substantially for the lowest level of luminance contrast. Number of practice blocks was also significant. Response time decreased greatly after the first practice block, and tend to become stable for the other practice blocks. Interaction of luminance contrast and practice was not significant. The results showed that subjects responded faster for the higher levels of luminance contrast than for the lowest luminance contrast on each practice block. Further, the effect of method of identification was not significant. |
