中文摘要 | 本研究以探索式的研究方法,探討我國ISP業的競爭狀態,以及各內外在條件如何影響ISP業者市場優勢。本文首先針對四家ISP業者,進行深度個案訪談,分析其內外在條件及市場優勢,將結果與文獻探討所得到的理論架構加以整合,以建立本研究之研究模式,然後以問卷調查的方法檢視研究模式中變數間的關係,研究對象為我國ISP業者。ISP業者因著內外在因素的不同而調整經營策略,而呈現出固守本業及多角化經營兩種經營方式;而國內ISP產業競爭激烈,本研究經因徑分析後,歸納出國內三項影響市場優勢的重要因素:擁有資源多寡、行銷策略以及提供便宜多樣的服務。 |
英文摘要 | This exploratory research studies the competitive state of Taiwan’s ISP industry and how the internal and external conditions affect the market competitiveness of the ISP’s. This research first conducts in-depth interviews with four ISP’s to analyze their internal and external conditions and market competitiveness. A conceptual model is obtained by integrating these cases and the findings of existing literatures. Then a questionnaire survey is carried out in order to examine the relationships among the variables. It is observed that some ISP’s choose to stay with their original specialization, while others aim at diversifying their business, due to dissimilar operational strategies, which are necessitated by different internal conditions and perceived external conditions. By using path analysis, it is concluded that there are three key factors that affect market competitiveness: the possessed resource, the marketing strategy, and the extent of low-cost services. |
