中文摘要 | 藍芽(Bluetooth)以及IEEE802.11b之無線區域網路(Wireless Local Area Network, WLAN)皆是當今短距離無線通訊的主要標準。而利用藍芽模組來傳送視訊資料將可以運 用於PDA、筆記型電腦以及其他含有顯示裝置的無線傳輸設備中。不幸的,藍芽及WLAN的頻帶都是在2.4GHz的ISM (Industrial, Scientific, Medical)公用頻帶上,衍生出 相互干擾的問題。本論文將探討以藍芽封包格式所傳輸之視訊資料在遭受WLAN干擾時所造成之視訊品質的衰減及其改善之道。視訊資料在傳輸前先經H.263的視訊壓縮。模擬顯示使用不同長度的藍芽封包以及信號對干擾及雜訊比值(Signalto Interference and Noise Ratio)會受到不同程度的干擾,而反映在視訊的影像品質之上。最後採用錯誤遮隱 (Error Concealment)的技術,發現對最差的傳送品質可改善3dB以上。 |
英文摘要 | Both Bluetooth and WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network of IEEE 802.11 b) are important standards for the short-rangewireless communications. Video transmission techniques with Bluetooth modules can be used in PD A, notebooks, and other wire1esse quipments with disp1aying devices. Unfortunately, Bluetoothand WLAN share the same ISM (Industrial, Scientific, Medical) band, resulting in an interference prob1em between them. In this paper we evaluate and attempt to improve the qua1ity degradation of the video transrnitted in the Bluetoothpacket format under the int,erference ofWLAN. The video data are compressed first using the H.263compression technique before they are transmitted. Simulation results show that different interference effects are obtained using different Bluetooth packet sizes and signal to interference and noise ratios, resulting in different image quality of video. Finally, we use error concealment techniques and the transmitted quality in the worst case can be improved by more than 3dB. |
