中文摘要 | 傳統儒家的倫理觀乃兩千多年來儒者在人文場域中自覺自道其生活境遇,因而生發充盈的主體際性所蘊育而成者,其堅持人義、人性與人道,以及其所揭顯的倫理法則與道德典範,至今,依然足以和當代社會相契相應,雖其間儒者亦曾逆向發展其思維方向與行動導向,如「政治儒家」之所作所為;但在人文 關懷與道德正義引領之下,由先秦而宋明,由程朱而陸王,儒家倫理的核心課題是一直在倫理的根源義、普遍義與理想義中,獲致具論證性、實踐性與世界性(此「世界」乃「生活世界」)的具體的解答,別是在對話倫理與全球倫理當道的這個時代,現代儒者(儒學的研究者)如杜維明與劉述先,則已另闢蹊徑,別開生面地為儒家倫理的當代意義與現代意涵做了具開放性與包容性的學術努力。 |
英文摘要 | The tradition of Confucian ethics is what the Confucians have accomplished for more than 2000 years in the field of humanism with the intersubjectivity cultivated by their consciousness about the vicissitudes in their lives. Moreover, their insistence on righteousness, humanity, along with the ethic principles and moral paradigms they reveal, still correspond to the contemporary society. Although sometimes they developed their thoughts and actions in the reverse direction as “political Confucians” did, under the guidance of humanistic concerns and moral righteousness, the central issue of Confucian ethics has always found concrete answers to their argumentativeness, practicality and universality (as the living world) in the original, universal and the ideal meanings of ethics. Particularly in a time when dialogic ethics and global ethics are dominant, modern Confucians like Tu Wei-ming and Liu Shu-hsien have worked on another approach, making unforeseen academic efforts at the contemporary meanings of Confucian ethics. |
