中文摘要 | 本文的目的是在探討「會議口譯員」(conference interpreter) 在台灣形成一項職業以來,透過職業分析的方式,觀察從事該職業的人員在養成上的必備條件、專業技能與知識涵養,以及口譯員未來在職業生涯發展上的問題。針對「會議口譯員」的任務與工作,從職業功能的角度,進行完整而有系統的分析,進而與台灣翻譯系所現行的課程規劃內容與目標做比較,希望清楚地看出教學內涵與實務需求之間的配合情形。此外,更進一步探討今後台灣訂定口譯教學方針之際,如何調整課程內容,以因應市場對口譯工作的需求。 |
英文摘要 | This paper aims to discuss, through job analysis, the necessary qualifications, skills, and expertise required of professional interpreters since the profession emerged in Taiwan, together with the career development of interpreters. A systematic and comprehensive analysis of the jobs and responsibilities of the conference interpreter is carried out and compared with the current curriculum and teaching objectives of the interpretation training institutes in Taiwan, in an attempt to determine how the curriculum meets pragmatic requirements. The paper further explores the manner by which interpretation training curriculum can be adjusted during the formulation process to better satisfy market needs. |
