中文摘要 | 本文主要研究活性碳纖布(Activated Carbon Cloth)對揮發性有機物之吸附現象。採用的活性碳纖布有FT200-10、FT200-15、FT200-20及KF1500等四種;發揮性有機物有正己烷、二氯甲烷、丙酮及乙二醇甲醚。實驗方法分靜態及動態吸附實驗。研究結果顯示,四種活性碳纖布對揮發性有機物吸附效果良好。靜態實驗結果知活性碳纖布比表面積愈大對揮發性有機物蒸汽平衡吸附量愈高。等溫吸附平衡數據可利用Freundlich或Langmuir吸附平衡方程式迴歸,對不同溫度下之吸附平衡數據可利用Langmuir-Freund-lich方程式迴歸,得到不錯結果。動態吸附實驗結果發現,活性碳纖布吸附揮發性有機物蒸汽後可利用熱氮氣再生。活性碳纖布對揮剸性有機物蒸汽吸附量隨氣流相對濕度增加而下降;貫穿時間隨進料濃度與流量增加而縮短。Yoon及Nelson方程式可模擬與預測活性碳纖布填充床吸附揮發性有機物蒸汽之貫穿曲線。 |
英文摘要 | The aim of the research is to study the adsorption of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) onto the activated carbon cloth (ACC). Four types of ACCs have been employed: FT200-10, FT200-15, FT200-20 and KF1500 ACC. VOCs investigated include n-hexane, dichloromethane, acetone, and ethylene glycol monomethyl ether. Both static and dynamic adsorption methods have been employed. The adsorption isotherms of VOCs onto ACCs were determined by static method. The experimental results indicate that VOCs are favorable adsorbed onto ACCs. Both Freundlich and Langmuir equations have been found to well regress the adsorption isotherm data. A temperature-dependent Langmuir-Freundlich equation is also used to fit the adsorption isotherm data at different temperatures. The regression result is also good. The results of dynamic experiments show that the ACCs saturated with VOCs can be regenerated by using hot nitrogen purge. The adsorption capacity of VOCs onto ACCs decreases along with increasing relative humidity of environment. The breakthrough time of VOCs onto ACCs decreases along with increasing the inlet concentration of gas stream and flow rate. The Yoon and Nelson model can be applied to simulate and predict the breakthrough curve of VOC adsorption onto a packed bed of ACC. |
