中文摘要 | 號誌連貰是整個都市交通控制中重要的課題,尤以都市街廓較短、社經活動頻繁的特性,如何以有限人力與設備維持交通號誌連鎖運作、永續提供車流續連功能,儼然已成都市交通管理上急亟克服的工作。目前臺中交通號詩系統已面臨著原號誌控制器調頻對時功能喪失,導致大幅陂低號誌連鎖度的問題,因此本研究乃以號誌無線連銷的觀點,引進先進且穩定之號誌控制器衛生自動對時搬術,期以重新構建號誌鎖系統。經由平均旅行速率調查資料發現,號誌控制器經硬體改善後,道路服務水準明顯提昇,證明衛星對時裝置的應用成效頗佳,且值得推廣。 |
英文摘要 | With characteristics to short bock length and the rapid growth of economic activities, the signal coordination problem is a serious issue for the whole traffic controls in urban area. Improving the operation of coordinated signal system and maintaining the progressive function of traffic flow by limited manpower and equipments have became the imperative task of traffic engineers. At present the situation, the radio timing devices built as signal controllers are no longer effective because their of deteriorating capacity in the signal coordination as leading as the main problem in Taichung city, to reconstruct the coordinated signal system, we use the advanced GPS technique to time the signal controller watch automatically. It is found that the travel speeds are significantly raised after installing the GPS timing devices in signal controllers. The results show that the accomplishment of GPS timing device is excellent and worthy enough to the growing population of Taichung. |
