中文摘要 | 本研究以鹵烷類為起始劑,鹵化亞銅/雙?啶(CuX/bpy)為催化劑,苯乙烯(Styrene)、甲基丙烯酸甲酯(MMA)及羥乙基甲基丙烯酸酯(HEMA)為單體,利用原子轉移自由基聚合法(ATRP)合成窄分佈之均聚合體(homopolymers)及雙段式共聚合體,並探討各種型式聚合體之物理性質。聚合後之產品PS、PMMA、PHEMA、PS-PMMA、PS-PHEMA以霍氏紅外光譜儀(FTIR)及□-NMR鑑定共聚合物的結構,證明共聚合物確實合成成功。凝膠滲透層析儀(GPC)測試結果證實,利用原子轉移自由基聚合法所合成之雙段式共聚合物為窄分佈共聚合體。熱重分析儀(TGA)熱穩定性分析結果,三種均聚合體中以PS為最高;PS-PMMA之10%重量損失溫度比PS及PMMA均聚合體高,顯示雙段式共聚合體對熱穩定性有加乘效果。動態黏彈性分析(DMA)測定結果:雙段式共聚合體有兩個Tg點,且各近似於均聚合體之Tg,顯示雙段式共聚合體之特性。 |
英文摘要 | This research studied the synthesis of homopolymers and diblock copolymers with narrow polydispersity by atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) using alkyl halides as the initiators, Cux/bipyridine as the catalyst system, styrene, methyl methacrylate (MMA), hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA) as the monomers, and investigated their physical properties. The synthesized products were characterized and confirmed by FTIR and □-NMR. GPC analysis showed that the copolymers were monodisperse. TGA thermograms indicated that PS was the most stable homopolymer; and the □ of PS-PMMA was higher than those of PS and PMMA homopolymers. This result revealed that diblock copolymers have synergetic effect on the thermal stability. DMA tests exhibite two distinct Tg for the diblock copolymers and confirmed that the diblock copolymers were successfully synthesized. |
