中文摘要 | 在探討產品創新類型與產品創新績效之關係時,本研究以「資源基礎模式」及「競 爭優勢環境模式」的概念作基礎;即公司進行產品創新活動時,如何在考量組織及市場因素 之下,採取一適合的產品創新類型,以達到公司所預期的產品創新績效。本研究首先依據「 創新產品對公司的新穎程度」將產品創新類型分為漸進式產品創新與突破式產品創新兩類型 。並衡諸國內外學者的研究文獻與論據,選取影響產品創新類型的因素。在組織內部的因素 選擇創新能力;在市場因素上則選用產品生命週期,以分析其對於產品創新類型與產品創新 績效之關係。本研究以需持續地進行產品創新活動,以維持生存利基或提升競爭優勢的資訊 產業為研究對象,共郵寄 608 份問卷, 回收有效問卷 75 份,經由統計方法整理後,歸納 出數點重要的實證結論如下: 一、研究結果顯示不同的產品創新類型與產品創新績效之間具 有顯著的差異,表示本研究之主要論點獲得支持,亦即不同的產品創新類型,會有不同的產 品創新績效。二、接著,在加入創新能力與產品生命週期等中介變項後,本研究獲致以下之 研究結論: (一)創新能力對產品創新類型與產品創新績效之關係 1. 高創新能力採取突破 式產品創新類型會有較佳的產品創新續效。 2. 低創新能力採取漸進式產品創新類型會有較 佳的產品創新績效。(二)產品生命週期對產品創新類型與產品創新績效之關係 1,導入期 採取突破式產品創新類型會有較佳的產品創新績效。2 .成熟期採取漸進式產品創新類型會 有較佳的產品創新績效。3,衰退期採取突破式產品創新類型會有較佳的產品創新績效。 |
英文摘要 | The main goal of this paper is to explore the relationship between the product innovation type and the product performance. The most important idea of this research is in the base of building the "Resource-Based Model: and the "Competitive Advantages Environment Model", that is, how to adopt a suitable product innovation type to achieve the respected product innovation goals when companies are holding products innovation activities. First, we classify the products as "incremental product innovation" and "radical product innovation" by the product innovation's novel degree to the company. Besides, we also generalize three important factors to affect the product innovation to analyze how do they affect the product innovation types and product innovation performance. The research field is the information industry. We mailed 608 questionaries and the quantities of the valid questionaries are 75. We generalize some important conclusions as follow: The research results reveal that there are obvious differences between different product innovation types and product innovation performance. There is, different product innovation types will have different product innovation performance. 1. After adding "innovation capabilities", "product life cycle", we have some conclusions as below: ( 1 ) The relationship among product innovation type, innovation capabilities and product innovation performance. A. High innovation capabilities match the radical products innovation types could have better product innovation performance. B. Low innovation capabilities match the incremental product innovation types could have better product innovation performance. ( 2 ) The relationship among product innovation types, PLC and product innovation performance. A. To adopt the radical product innovation type in the introduction period could have better product innovation performance. B. To adopt the radical product innovation types in the growth period could have better product innovation performance. C. To adopt the incremental product innovation type in the maturity period could have better product innovation performance. D. To adopt the radical product innovation type in the decline period could have better product innovation performance. |
