英文摘要 | Nanocomposite is defined as such a composite with the particle size of the disperse phase is less than 100nm at least in one dimension. Because of the nanometer size effect, huge specific areas and strong interaction between the disperse phase and the polymer matrix, the nanocomposite exhibit increased modulus, decreased thermal expansion coefficient, reduced gas permeability, increased solvent resistance when compared to the pristine polymers. The potential application of Polymer/Clay Nanocomposites was pointed out in areas of electronic package material, consumer products, transportation, high barrier film/bottle and man-made fiber. Polymer/Clay Nanocomposites is one of the most important polymer technologies in 21 century. |
