英文摘要 | Digital Switching Trunk Assignment Operating System, short for TAS, is famous for its applications of trunk assignment and usage management. The idea for developing TAS system originated from a need to manage various digital switching equipments across different district units within the company and to process intellectual trunk assignments. This article is focused mainly on the algorithm of trunk assignment, which is adopted in the TAS, and supplements it with the demonstration of special coding techniques and derived mathematic formulas used behind TAS operations. Although all the mathematic formulas and trunk allocation logics might seem complicated, within this article the writer uses many examples to explain the numbering rules of trunk assignment and the relation between trunk and CIC (Circuit Identification Code) numbering. It is hoped this article will be helpful to other colleagues who are also interested in trunk assignments of a digital switch. |
