| 中文摘要 | 新世紀的教育需要對技術理性典範下的「教材」 (material) 概念進行檢視,以期 賦予教材新的身份,並探索另類課程實踐的可能性。在上述關懷下「文本」 (text) 可作為此種論述探索的切入途徑。 在後現代思潮的「文本」觀點下,它的範圍從文字作品擴展至口語、聽覺、視覺表達等類型,甚至及於日常生活中意義表達或建構的實踐活動;它也強調文本的意義是由讀者的詮釋所賦與,讀者即是作者;更進一步,它揭露文本並非指涉客觀中立的知識,而是蘊藏著權力關係的運作。 從上述文本的概念再省思教材,本文認為必須從「產品」、「過程」和「思維」等 三種層面,對文本、教材、教師與學生間的連鎖關係進行檢視。亦即,教材做為「產品」,它必須再擴展並納入其它多樣化的表現形式:做為「過程」,它應能展現「讀者作者」的動態生成關係:做為「思維」,它必須被批判地省視其中所蘊涵的權力關係。在此過程中,教材要視為文本加以分析,任何文本皆可做為教材來運用,而教師是做為文本的符號分析者,學生則是文化的生產者。 |
| 英文摘要 | Educators in the new century need to examine the concept of "Material" under the technical rationalistic cannon. So that Material can get a new role and start to explore the possibility of practising an alternative curriculum. With the concern above, "Text" can be the approach of this discussion. "Text" for the postmodern perspective, extends its scope from literary works to oral, audio, and visual expressions, and it even spread to the transmission of the meaning in the ordinary life or to the constructive praxis. Also it emphasizes that the meaning of the text is given by the readers' interpretation, which means the reader, the author. More over, it exposes that the text has the power relation working within、rather than simply the neutral, objective knowledge. Rethinking the Material with the concept above, this article thinks it necessary to examine the interrelation between Text, Material, teachers and students through 3 points: "Product", "Process", and "Thoughts". This means, Material as "Product", has to be extended and included its vary forms; Material as "Process", it should be able to develop the "Reader-Author" interactive relationship; Material as the "Thoughts", it needs critiques for its the power relation working within. Through the whole process, Material should be analysed as Text, therefore, any texts can be appropriated as materials, and teachers as the text analysers, students as cultural producers. |
