中文摘要 | 近年來隨著對「心靈」觀點的改變,認知與動機的觀點也隨之改變。本文的目的即在探討當代的認知及社會建構論的動機觀點,藉以提出對教學的啟示。本文介紹了成就目標理論、未來時間觀點、禪的動機理論等認知的動機觀,也介紹了情境動機及動機的適應論等社會建構的動機觀點。當代的動機觀視為動機為一成長的系統,其反映自我並具有轉化自我的功能,且動機是個人建構的。作者由當代的動機理論中引申其教學意涵包括:教學即是師生動機互動的場景、教學活動能轉化動機、教學資源可促進動機的發展,以及教師是動機的示範者;而所獲得的教學啟示有:在教學中可進行有關動機覺察的活動、營造與學生信念衝突的情境轉他學生的動機、創造具動機性的教學情境、可進行認知資源統整的教學以利動機的充分發展,以及在教學中,教師對動機的自我省思為改善教學的途徑之一。文末提出由縱習環境進行改革,應可做為發展學生學習動機的開端。 |
英文摘要 | Traditionally, mind is seen as a personal information processor. Nowadays, it is seen as a biological and developing system, and it is not only in one's brain, but also in physical and social environments. With the perspective of mind changes, the perspectives of cognition and motivation change too. The purposes of this paper were to explore contemporary theories of motivation, and to propose some instructional implications from these theories. Goal theories of achievement, Future Time Perspective, and Zen Buddhist motivational perspectives were introduced in terms of cognitive perspectives. Situated motivation and adaptive theory of motivation were introduced in terms of socio-constructivist perspective. These contemporary theories of motivation regard motivation as being actively constructed by the individual. Instructional implications from these theories were proposed as follows: (a)teachers can design some activities related to self-awareness of motivation;(b)teachers can challenge student's belief to change students' motivation;(c)teachers can create motivational instructional situations;(d)teachers can implement instruction through integrating cognitive resources to help students' motivation develop fully;(e)teachers reflection on their motivation related to teaching practices can be one way to improve their teaching. Finally, it is suggested that students' motivation can be developed by improving learning environments. |
