英文摘要 | Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) System includes body language, picture communication board, blissymbols, and other communication aids among which speech is the most efficiently used. AAC system can help a disabled person get interested in language learning and dispel the tension and frustration due to disability of expressing himself easily and clearly. The system is the advanced version of the former speech communication system (R&D by AAC Science-Cultural Foundations and Disabled Science-Technical Lab in NCKU) for the purpose of prolonging record-time and lowering the cost. The speech vocoder is implemented in the fixed-point digital signal process microprocessors and the speech parameters are saved in flash memory. The implementation of the linear prediction auto-correlation vocoder with lG- bits fixed-point arithmetic is presented in this paper. The voice degradation for fixed-point procession can be neglected in comparison to that for floating-point processing under the consideration of low cost. |
