中文摘要 | 國小自然昆蟲單元的教學現場易受天候、環境、資源所限制,不易培養學童的科學過程技能。本研究研發「昆蟲大富翁」遊戲教具為媒材,讓國小四年級學童做為課程後的延伸學習,培養科學過程技能與建立昆蟲概念認知。評量工具為昆蟲科學過程技能測驗、昆蟲概念認知測驗、訪談大綱,用來評估混合研究的學習成效。研究結果顯示:一、玩IPBG的實驗組學童,其科學過程技能、昆蟲概念認知之學習成效皆優於對照組學童,達顯著差異。二、實驗組學童的昆蟲科學過程技能測驗與昆蟲概念認知測驗實驗效果量在總人數、高、中、低分群皆高於對照組,達到中度~高度實驗效果量。三、實驗組受訪學童認為20種昆蟲卡和「教戰手冊」協助他們增進科學過程技能的各種能力。 |
英文摘要 | The teaching site of insect curriculum is often limited by weather, environment, and resources. It is hard cultivate the scientific process skills of primary school students. This study developed the "Insects Playing Board Games" as media, allowing students to cultivate scientific process skills and enhance insect cognitive comprehension through playing. We used "Insect Science Process Test, ISPT," "Insect Cognitive Comprehension Test, ICCT," and an interview outline as research tools to evaluate the learning effect of our mixed-method research. The result showed that: 1. the experimental group students (playing the "Insects Playing Board Games") showed better learning effect on the "scientific process skills" and "insect cognitive comprehension" than the control group, reaching significant differences; 2. the ISPT and ICCT effect sizes (ES) of the experimental group students were higher than the control group in the total, as well as in the high-, medium- and low-achiever groups, reaching medium to high degree of effect size; 3. interviewed students of the experimental group thought that their capabilities of science process skills did enhance with the 20 kinds of insect cards and the "teaching manual." |
