中文摘要 | 血桐常出現在臺灣低海拔的荒廢地,且具有潛力能夠往周圍的草地擴張而形成血桐的次生純林。血桐在四季中常有落葉的現象,往往在血桐林下有落葉堆積。血桐落葉的水溶性萃取液對鬼針草種子有明顯的萌芽抑制。乙醚的萃取液經LH20管柱分離後所得到的第三管分離液對萵苣的種子有抑制作用,再將第三瓶的分離液以矽膠管柱分離,得到八瓶的分離液,第四到第六瓶的分離液在500ppm下完全抑制萵苣種子的發芽。這些結果顯示血桐的落葉含有能抑制植物生長的毒物質,這些毒物質自血桐的落葉中釋出抑制鄰近的植物,血桐藉落葉的毒性,可以進入鄰近草地中擴展其族群的大小。 |
英文摘要 | Macaranga tanarius distributes widely in the abandon lowland of Taiwan. The species usually has potential to invade into its adjacent grassland, then become to be dominant species in the community. There are relative amounts of M. tanarius fallen leaves accumulated underneath M. tanarius stand. The aqueous extract of M. tanarius fallen leaves had inhibitory effect on germination of Biden pilosa, which grew vigorously in the grassland adjacent to M. tanarius stand. The ether extract of M. tanarius fallen leaves was chromatographed on LH 20 and the eluted fraction F3 had significant inhibitory effect on radicle growth of lettuce. Further separation of F3 through silica gel resulted in eight fractions (F1'-F8). All of the fractions F4'-F6' at 500 ppm completely inhibited germination of lettuce seeds. The results imply that the invasion of M. tanarius into its adjacent grassland is primarily due to the phytotoxic effect of its fallen leaves. |
